This is a crucial demonstration project in Jiangsu Province, which aims to facilitate the relocation of steel production capacity from the Yangtze River region to the coastal area. Jingyu Environment has been contracted to handle the Concentrated Water Salt Separation and Mother Liquor Treatment System within the Zhongtian Central Water Treatment Plant general contracting project. The daily treatment capacity amounts to 3,480 cubic meters. For steel enterprises, the cooling water, after undergoing evaporation, exhibits a salt concentration in the wastewater that can be several dozen times higher than that of fresh water. By means of "salt separation crystallization", Jingyu Environment further concentrates and segregates salts from the high-concentration wastewater. Sodium chloride industrial salt products are obtained through evaporation crystallization, and simultaneously, the wastewater is converted into demineralized water for complete reuse. In the process of achieving zero wastewater discharge, a 100% resource utilization rate of the entire plant's water system has been realized. This project has emerged as a novel "green and low-carbon" hallmark for the project owner and has established a new standard for environmental protection management in metallurgical enterprises.
